Enviromental Services
  • A clean care center is a very important part of Morningside Care Center's total operation. This is accomplished through having tremendous staff in the following three departments:
  • The Maintenance Department
  • The Maintenance Department keeps the building in mint condition, including keeping the fire alarm system with smoke and heat detectors directly linked to the fire department in proper working order. Drills and inspections are held periodically to insure safe living and working area for residents and employees alike. Lawns are well kept in summer and snow is plowed and walks neatly shoveled in winter. Repairs of residents' equipment are done in a timely manner. Our goal is to keep Morningside Care Center in its best possible condition for the residents and staff to enjoy a a pleasant and comfortable living environment.
  • Housekeeping Department
  • The Housekeeping Department maintains rooms, furnishings and all other areas thoroughly so that there is a healthy and clean environment. Coordinated by a full-time housekeeping supervisor to ensure and maintain high quality standards.
  • Laundry Department
  • The Laundry Department is a complete automatic system. Employees load the machines and all soaps, bleaches, softeners, etc. are added mechanically at the proper time in the cycle. Clothing is marked with the resident's name and can be laundered and returned to its owner daily.
