Nursing Services
The Nursing Department at Morningside Care Center is the largest department at the facility.
Our Director of Nursing, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Medication Aides and Certified Nurses Aides are recognized for their high level of skill and compassionate care.
Every member is trained to provide the necessary interventions to the residents.
The goal is to meet the individual needs of each resident and to restore or maintain the highest level of healthcare and independence.
Each resident is served by a specialized individual Care Plan, devised by a team of staff members at the time of admission.
Every Care Plan is unique and is modified to fit the needs pertaining to each individual; meaning that no two care plans are the same.
The Care Plan is mapped out into three main sections.
- This includes problems/strengths of each resident.
- Our goal is to assist that resident in maintaining their strengths and lessen their problems.
- Third is general approaches to achieve that goal.

The Individualized Care Plan emphasizes the development and care of the whole person, giving consideration to spiritual, social and emotional needs, as well as the resident’s physical well-being and the physician’s plan of care.
It also assures that all residents receive the care and services most appropriate to their individual needs.
